Varmaland Campsite is a spacious campground in the village of Varmaland in the Borgarfjörður region of West Iceland, not far from Borgarnes. It lies near the Stafholtstungur geothermal area, between the Hvítá and Norðurá rivers, making it a scenic stop for travellers exploring west Iceland.

Varmaland Campsite is set on the outskirts of Varmaland along Route 50 (Borgarfjarðarbraut), about 2.5 km from the main road, and is easy to reach by vehicle.  The surrounding landscape offers walking and hiking opportunities as well as views toward geothermal features in the area.

The campsite is typically open from early June through August, aligning with Iceland’s main summer travel season.
