Laugum Swimming Pool is a cherished community facility located in the village of Laugar, approximately 60 km east of Akureyri, 40 km south of Húsavík, and 20 km north of Mývatnssveit in North Iceland. Nestled amidst pristine hillsides, the pool offers a tranquil setting with a beautiful view southward over the valley.

• Main Pool: A 25-meter outdoor swimming pool maintained at a comfortable temperature of around 30°C.
• Hot Tubs: Two spacious geothermal hot tubs, one heated to 40°C and another to approximately 37°C, providing options for relaxation.
• Children's Wading Area: A dedicated shallow area designed for the safety and enjoyment of younger swimmers.
• Fitness Center: An on-site fitness facility equipped with various exercise equipment for visitors.

• Summer Season (June - August): Open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
• Winter Season (September - May):
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM – 9:30 PM

  • Saturday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed
